Method
How we count.
- ChatGPT on the web (chatgpt.com). 49 questions in 4 categories, answers collected on October 16, 2026.
- Each question was asked 4 to 6 times, 276 answers in all: answers change from run to run, so we count answers, not one reply.
- Named: ChatGPT suggested the brand as an option in that answer. First pick: it was the first option listed.
- Ranked by the answers that named a brand; ties are broken by first picks.
- Rankings change over time. We refresh them and update the date on each page.
