Quick answers to the questions people ask most when something looks off.
“There’s no data yet”
- Brand-new project
- Results appear after the first nightly scan. Answer audit shows what it’s waiting for.
- Allocate / Add prompts / Choose models
- The project isn’t Ready. It needs 40 or more allocated prompts, enough enabled prompts, and exactly three models. An owner or admin can fix this on Projects.
- Awaiting data
- The selected models have no answers in this range, often because a model was just added. Widen the range or pick other models.
- Filters too narrow
- A topic, tag or model filter may leave no answers. Reset in the date menu restores every filter.
“Why does it show —?”
There aren’t enough answers for a fair number yet: visibility needs 10 answers, position and sentiment need 3 mentions, and Recommended needs 5 answers that recommend a product. Widen the date range, or track more prompts for that topic. See Metrics explained.
“Recommended or sentiment is missing for recent days”
Those answers haven’t been read yet; the chart shades the days Not read yet. They fill in on their own, usually within hours. See Scans and data freshness.
“Two pages show different numbers”
- Check that both use the same date range and filters. They are in the page address.
- Prompts has its own metrics range (7, 30 or 90 days).
- Insights header tiles cover the whole range; chart points cover one day, week or month each.
- After a model change, change markers compare only the models present in both periods.
“AI mentions us, but GEO Radar says Missing”
Open the answer and check how your brand is written. If AI uses another spelling, a product name or a different domain, update your brand in Project settings or add the domain in Brands. Past answers are matched again.
“A competitor is missing, or something that isn’t one is listed”
Add it in Brands, or click Track in Insights → AI also names. To get rid of one, Stop tracking it, or click ×(Not a competitor) on a suggestion. It won’t be added automatically again.
“I can’t click Edit, Accept or Invite”
Your role doesn’t allow it. Viewers read only; editors manage content; owners and admins manage projects and members. See Members and roles.
“My action shows no Impact result”
Results come 14 days after you mark it Done, and each window needs 30 matched answers. The tracker row gives the exact reason. See Impact.
“Crawl insights stays on Waiting for the first report”
Your domain’s DNS records must be proxied by Cloudflare (orange cloud). Turn that on, then click Send test request. More fixes are in Crawl insights.
